200 Shams (Cairo based Egyptian Producer) embarks on a two track journey informed by Dance music.

the first track "Atmana A5taf Youm" features a bouncy beat, syncopated bass, guitars & cosmic synths reminiscent of the late 70's to mid 80's synth efforts of Egyptian, Libyan & Lebanese synth production techniques. it also features a very Mediterranean pop oriented vocals, sped up, cut up & manipulated to match tge groove.

second track "5-HT" (the name refers to Serotonin Hormone, the mood hormone) features acid laced bassline & menacing drums, with lonely vocal sample, that's kind of a darker, electronic take on the already mechanical 2000's Egyptian Habibi Pop.

The tracks are by no means a revival effort, it's more of a look into the future, while recognizing the past.
